ଗୁରୁ ବାବାଙ୍କର ଆଶିଷ

ସଦା ଥାଏ ସଦା ହରଷ

ମୁଖେ ତାର ମୃଦୁ ହସ

କଥା ତା'ର ଅତି ସରସ.........

ନିଜକୁ ଭକୁଆ କହେ ସର୍ବଦା

ସେଇ ପରା ଆମ ସ୍ନେହର ସଦା

ଜଗତସିଂହପୁରରେ ଘର

କ୍ଷଣକେ ଅନ୍ୟକୁ କରେ ନିଜର...

ପରିବାର ନେଇ ରହେ ଖୁସିରେ

ଇସ୍ପାତ ସହର ରାଉରକେଲାରେ

ଯହିଁ ଦମ୍ପତିଏ ଥାଇ କର୍ମରେ

ଅବସର ନ୍ୟନ୍ତି ସେବା ଶେଷରେ

ମଜାଳିଆ କଥା କହି ବନ୍ଧୁଙ୍କୁ

ମନ ମୋହିଥାଏ ଚିର କାଳକୁ

କରୋନା କବଳେ କେଇଦିନ

କଲବଲ ତା 'ହେଲା ଜୀବନ....,

ଖବର ପାଆନ୍ତି ସଖା ସହୋଦର

ବିଶ୍ୱନିୟନ୍ତାକତିରେ କରି ଗୁହାର

କରନ୍ତି ବନ୍ଧୁର ଜୀବନ ଭିକ୍ଷା ଜିଗିରିଦୋସତକୁକର ହେ ରକ୍ଷା.

ହସି ହସି ସଦା ଫେରେ ବଜାରେ

ପ୍ରିୟ ବନ୍ଧୁ ସବୁ ଅତି ଖୁସିରେ

Lal Bahadur Singh who came to us about 3 decades back is a professional car washer. He made a living out of it and managed his family in Azad Basti. Earlier he used to manage in Sector area when his children were small. His main clients were the executives of the Steel Plant during his young days. With age catching up with him and children growing and his familiar clients moving out of Sector after retirement, his client base -to some extent- shifted to Koelnagar also.Unfortunately he developed urinary problems in March-April last year at the onset of the Pandemic in the State and despite so many doctors being his clients, the lockdown and shutdowns as well as his ignorance kept him away from consulting the right doctor in time. He landed with Dr. Amaresh in November-December and urinary bladder cancer was diagnosed. He was sent to the State's premier Cancer Institute for management but came back during the second wave of Covid for lack of cooperation and help. Dr. Amaresh took up the surgery in CWS Hospital and he was later sent for chemo therapy and radio therapy but somehow the condition was worsening and he couldn't afford for running to 350-400 kms for treatment. He was taking palliative care at home for last two months and passed away on 11th September 2021.

A simple and very hardworking man who had visual problems, Singh was a loving person who made a very honest but decent living in his life time. May God rest his soul in peace and help his family to recover from the loss.
