Lalit Mohan Dash- a high-school classmate
Chanced to meet him in Rourkela when Lalit called on 20th July 2011
from NIT campus where his younger son took admission and was getting
into the hostel. Lalit has already superannuated as an electrical
engeineer in April this year. When together we reminisced about our
days in Jagatsinghpur and our last meeting sometimes in 1970. It was
great to meet this school friend after four decades.

Maain
I have spent a lot of my time with her in her Radhang residence during my childhood days and have received a lot of her love. Immensely grateful to this woman of unique courage who stood by me and my mother and father during the sixties of last century.
LAst met him in Bhubaneswar where despite a fracture in her Left femur she was attending Arakshita Bhai's 3rd daughter's marriage on 10th July.

Mrs. Panigrahi of Puri with Barada's father-in-law.
I know both the pictures are bad because of the light and camera position.
But felt like sharing it.

'Jeebanika' Inauguration
Venue- Gundicha Temple, Ambagan
Inaugurated by Sri Bata Krushna Panda
This is a literary magazine where contributions from people in the field of medicine are published. A brain-child of Major Ganeswar Sahoo who has tremandous love for Oriya language, its a matter of great surprise that the magazine has been hitting the stands regularly every quarterly. Major Ganeswar Sahoo has been instrumental in its 10 years run for arranging finances and arranging the articles.Niyati and many of my close friends have been regular contributors to "Jeebanika" and I feel proud to be associated with it. The person whom I miss in "Jeebanika" is the legendary Sanat Ray who always wanted to bring out the best literature from people practising Medicine and also polish it before serving.May his soul rest in peace.
